About Redmond Fine Art
Puerveyors of Fine Equine and Sporting Art
For almost Thirty years Alan Redmond has been selling fine sporting art to collectors worldwide.
The main thrust of Redmond Fine Art is all things equine unsurprisingly as Alan spent his early working life immersed in the bloodstock industry.
Firstly working for the legendary Irish Trainer Paddy Mullins (who handled the great Dawn Run amongst many others) and this year at the age of 56 riding in a charity race for Irish Injured Jockeys over the Irish Derby course at the Curragh. In between he has worked for Coolemore Stud in Tipperary and also in Kentuky USA.
A love of history coupled with his interest in the equine industry led to a hobby collecting old racing prints by the great sporting art masters such as Sir Alfred Munnings, Henry Alken, Harry Hall and others. The hobby soon became a part time job as his colleagues from the industry asked him to procure certain works of equine art for them. A decision had to be made and in 1990 Redmond Fine Art was born, Since then we have sold original works by all the great sporting artists to every corner of the globe. Today we are pleased to show works by the old masters and selected contemporary artists such as David Trundley, Karen Davies and Thierry Faure. We are constantly sourcing new work either privately or at auction and our "recent acquisitions" icon will show you what is currently available in that area.
Sculpter Annie Mollereaux is a recent recruit to our gallery and her quirky pieces are always in demand. Annie's work has been used for the last three years - Annie has designed and supplied the winners trophy for the winners of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby. Recipients of the trophies have been John Gordon and HH The Aga Khan an Aiden O'Brien.

This year will be the 25th year Redmond Fine Art will appear at The Punchestown Festival. The Punchestown Festival is considered the grande finale of the jump season with top class horses, trainers and jockeys from both sides of the Irish sea converging on the Kildare venue to settle scores and confirm reputations.
