June Brilly was born in 1956 in Illinois, United States of America and settled in Ireland in 1975 living in Prosperous, County Kildare. She has been working full-time as a professional artist since 1982 and has a firmly established reputation among the Irish racing and hunting fraternity.
She specialises in painting animals, particularly horses and has been commissioned to paint many racehourses, International showjumpers, and eventers, but prefers to paint behind the scene studies rather than traditional
portraits indeed the whole spectrum of country life. She has had numerous successful exhibitions in Ireland and
abroad and her most recent commission was four large works for the Four Seasons Hotel Dublin.
