Thierry Faure

An accomplished rider, 45 years of competing in show jumping and eventing, an amateur at heart ringmaster from 1969 to 1977, student and working a few horses.

In 1977, encouraged by the atmosphere artistic family, he took pen and brush and had his first exhibition in 1983, painting became his main activity around 1985.

He is currently exhibiting at his home permanently in Iffs Gallery and continually working with the Redmond Fine Art in Naas

In his own words -

"I was born in 1944, a horse lover, I was Developed Later fondness for music, though a poor musician, I paint my passions: the field of horses, and later, the music which was the source of fantasies and driving to wanderings a contemporary work.

I took part in the Shows of Cannes (gold plate - 3 rd prize), Marseille (gold medal), Paris Salon d'Automne, Salon d'Automne in Saumur (first prize gouache), Society of equestrian artists in London. I exhibit regularly in Great Britain and Ireland at great equestrian events: Badminton, Burghley, Windsor, Dublin and Punchestown."
